Installing XAMPP on windows

1. XAMPP 

For xampp installation ensure that the default installation location is C:\xampp, if not change it to this directory. However this not a requirement in any way it is just for the easy of following our tutorials. 

With the executable file you have downloaded follow the entire installation guide by clicking next, until you reach finish

We are also aware most of you already have localhost server running in your system, this tutorials are written for everyone to be able to follow from scratch without previous knowledge of any form.

If your xampp installation was successful you have just installed Apache, MySQL and PHP and you should have a working server running on you machine. Open your browser and type “http://localhost/” you should see the screen below.

Click on English to choose English as your prefer language. You can also configure your server to auto start apache and php from the config button on the far top right of the xampp control panel.
